Online Events and Virtual Meetups
Find an online event that interests you
This section of Town.kg helps you find events you can attend over the internet. Browse listings to learn something new, discuss a topic or meet people who share your interests.
Online events go beyond webinars. Read the programme to understand whether a gathering involves a presentation, questions for a speaker, practical activities or informal conversation. Check in advance whether you will need a camera or microphone.
Check the time and programme language
When planning to attend, review the date, start time and stated time zone. If the organiser is based in another country, compare the schedule with your local time.
The language of a listing does not necessarily match the language of the event. Check the programme language, whether interpretation is available and any participant requirements.
Review registration and joining arrangements
Online attendance is not necessarily free. Check the price, registration deadline and how you will receive the joining link. Some events may require an account with a separate service or an app installation.
An event being held online does not guarantee access to a recording or materials afterwards. Confirm these arrangements with the organiser. Before the event begins, check your joining link and the latest programme updates.
Questions About Online Events
How do I join an online event?
Open the event page and follow the instructions. Register if required, then join through the service or link specified by the organiser.
Are all online events free?
No. Admission costs depend on the individual event. Ask the organiser if pricing is not specified.
Which time zone is used for the start time?
Check the time zone stated in the description. If none is given, confirm it with the organiser and convert the start time to your local time.
Will a recording be available?
That depends on the organiser. An online format does not guarantee access to a recording, presentation or other materials.
Can I attend from another city or country?
Check location restrictions, participant eligibility and the availability of the chosen service. An online format does not guarantee access from every country.
